Adding to the Journey

Working toward dreams,goals brings into my life new experiences that I had never thought of before.  I talked about balance in my previous blog but I’m talking about now the journey to achieve my goals. I never though about teaching as part of my dream but I really enjoy bringing new thoughts and  ideas to other people.  I’m teaching the 2nd part of “Beginning Marketing” to other artists.  I taught about “Using Art For Meditation” to people who want to grow in their spiritual lives. The connection through all these classes is a universal thing.

Evolving into Something More

Change is sometimes unsettling but very good for me and I’m sure for you too.  It doesn’t always seem good but evolving into something more takes a dash of courage and patience.  I’m always climbing a ladder to be better with plateaus in between.  I did a series a few years back (14 pieces) that is on my website www.Landisart.com called Yin & Yang: Balancing My Life.  It shows there are very busy parts of life and then a quiet plateau then busy, then a plateau.  I’m just finishing my plateau now (I spent time working with a spiritual coach talking with her every day for ten weeks) and I’m ready to move and evolve into something more with action.  I woke up at 2:15 this morning and ready to act with love.

Spring Cleaning

The promise of Spring and new beginnings start right in my heart.

I’m feeling almost giddy.  Getting my house clean and the sun  shining through clean windows is a relief. I also feel lighthearted about my art and career.  I’m cleaning out my Spirit.  Getting ready for something wonderful is my expectation.  Do you have that feeling of preparation by Spring Cleaning your Spirit?

Trying to keep up

When does the madness end? What I’m talking about is all thse social networking groups. I got an invite today from plaxo. I wrote to the person and said I can’t do one more group.  I’m on Twitter, Facebook and Linkedin and my space.  I don’t do my space or my art space anymore. everyone has gotten on the bandwagon, it seems like.

I haven’t done my blog for a month either.  I enjoy writing my blog but even that seemed too much time.  With me teaching “Art as Meditation” and “Beginning Marketing for Artists”, working on a new business plan and getting some doctor things done plus springtime allergies I feel like Alice in Wonderland falling down the hole.

On the other hand I’m very grateful that I’m a creator on many levels so I’ll keep up and move forward with gusto.
